Tokyo Marui - Detonics Combat Master

Tokyo Marui Detonics Combat Master is a replica of a classic compact 1911 style .45 ACP semi-auto pistol, one of the smallest .45 calibre pistols in the world. The gun looks very impressive and realistic. It is constructed from a new heavy weight material that gives the appearance of metal. The real metal parts in it are the outer barrel, the trigger, the hammer, the magazine, the slide release, the thumb safety, the magazine release button, the recoil rod and the grip panel screws. With them you get some very decent weight that gets the gun even closer to the real one. Due to the compact size of this pistol there is no grip, but the thumb safety is still present. The magazine holds 18 BB’s in a dual stack arrangement and also replicates the size and shape of the standard 6 round single stack Detonics .45 ACP magazine, which adds to the overall realism. Performancewise the gun is just as great. It fires pretty consistent and very accurate even at colder temperatures. The gas consumption is also something to be mentioned as advantage. See the specifications:

Specifications:

Calibre: 6mm Plastic BB
Weight: 632g (with Empty Magazine)
Length: 178mm
Barrel Length: 74mm
Magazine Capacity: 18 + 1 (Chamber)
Adjustable Hop-up: Yes

The only thing worth mentioning as a flaw is the lack of kick. I don’t think that’s even a reason enough to stop you from getting this gun. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it very much if you decide to trust it. What you’ll have to pay for it is £84.99, which is not too bad. The gun looks great and performs even better – go for it.
